オレンジ色のふたごの野ねずみ、ぐりとぐら。お料理すること、食べることが、大好きなふたり。中川李枝子さんと山脇百合子さんの姉妹が子どもたちを喜ばせようと作った絵本は、見るたび、読むたび、人々をしあわせへと誘います。
Guri and Gura, two orange field mice. They love to cook and eat. This picture book, created by sisters Rieko Nakagawa and Yuriko Yamawaki to delight children, invites people to happiness every time they see or read it.
この展覧会では絵本の原画は展示しません。来場者は、絵本のページをめくる代わりに、自分自身がぐりとぐらとなって、四季折々の絵本の中を歩いていきます。ふしぎな出会いや冒険、すてきなもの、草花、そしておいしいもの。子どもたちは心を躍らせ、大人は懐かしい記憶と新たな発見を楽しむことができる展覧会です。
This exhibition will not display the original picture books. Instead of turning the pages of the picture books, visitors will become Guri and Gura themselves, walking through the picture books of the four seasons. Children will be fascinated by the strange encounters, adventures, beautiful things, flowers, and delicious foods. This is an exhibition that will excite children's hearts, while adults can enjoy nostalgic memories and new discoveries.
